Stop-Motion Movie Party

How it works

Learn the basicsChildren learn the basics of animation and how to use the stop-motion software.

AnimateEach child picks one of our figures, then:

  • animates two dancing scenes
  • writes a message for the birthday child and animates their figure raising it up in the ending scene

Watch the filmAfter the party, we edit everyone’s animations into one film, with every child’s name in the credits, and send the link to the birthday child’s parent within 1 to 3 days.

Every child sculpts a mini portrait of themselves, plus one flower or one block for the birthday keepsake. We provide step-by-step instruction sheets to help the children create their sculpts, and our instructors are on hand to help whenever it’s needed.

Sticker Lab Party

Every child turns themselves into real stickers. They pose for silly, happy and cheeky photos, then decorate them with hats, accessories and captions. We print and cut everything after the party.

Four designs eachEvery child creates 4 personalized sticker designs, and we print 2 of each. One of the designs is a gift for the birthday child, with a special message.

Group stickersAll the children take part in making the group stickers.

How it works

Plan your posesBrowse our Look Book and choose your ideas for four photos.

Photo boothStrike your four poses in our photo booth.

Decorate and buildAdd accessories and text, then cut out your photos and glue everything onto your sticker board.

We print and cutAfter the party we print 2 of each design and cut them out. Ready to collect in 1 to 3 days.

From booking to pickup

Call or email us. Pick a date, the party and the headcount.

Hold the date with a $150 deposit, paid in the studio.

Drop off on time, or 5 minutes early. Two adults can stay.

Collect your clay, stickers or film link in 1 to 3 days.

Questions


Which party suits our group?
  • Ages 6 and 7: the Sticker Lab Party.
  • Ages 8 and up: any of the three.
  • Mixed ages? The older children can do Stop-Motion while the younger ones do a clay project for +$20 per child, with an adult present at all times.
  • Not sure? Call or email and we will help you choose.
What are the minimum and maximum numbers?
  • Stop-Motion: up to 12 children, one flat price.
  • Clay Portrait: 8 to 12 children.
  • Sticker Lab: 5 to 6 children.
  • For Clay and Sticker, fewer children than the minimum is billed as the minimum.
Is the studio private during our party?

Yes. The studio is closed to the public during a party.

How do we pay?
  • A $150 deposit holds your date. It is paid in the studio.
  • The remaining balance is paid at the desk on the day.
  • For the per-child parties (Clay Portrait and Sticker Lab), please confirm your final headcount 48 hours before the party. That is the number we bill.
  • Stop-Motion stays a flat $499, whatever the number of children.
  • All prices are before HST.
What if we need to cancel or change the date?

With 7 or more days’ notice, we move your deposit to a new date. With less than 7 days, the deposit is kept. We are understanding about illness and emergencies, so please tell us. If we ever have to cancel, you get a full refund.
