Children animating stop-motion scenes with tablets in a Pixel and Paint class

Programs

Stop-Motion Programs

Four weekly sessions where kids plan, build, shoot and edit their own animated films — and take home a finished video every single session. No experience needed. Our team guides every step while encouraging them to create their own unique projects.

What Your Child Will Learn

Level 1 – Where the Magic Begin

Kids are introduced to the world of stop-motion through fun, hands-on projects where they create a brand-new animated video every single week. Along the way, they learn:

  • How stop motion works using toys, clay, paper puppets, LEGO, and everyday objects
  • Smooth movement with spacing, keyframes, in-betweens, and looping
  • Creative filmmaking skills like storytelling, storyboarding, and camera framing
  • Essential tools like frame rate, onion skinning, manual camera control, timelapse, and adding sound & voices

Level 2 – For Kids Ready to Go Deeper.

Level 2 is designed for students who want to refine their skills and create more advanced, cinematic animations. They will explore:

  • Advanced animation principles like squash & stretch, anticipation, and exaggeration
  • Professional tools such as advanced camera & audio controls, rig removal, and higher video quality
  • More polished storytelling, smoother motion, and stronger visual impact
